CELEBRATING THE TOP-10 BEST PLACES TO WORK IN OTTAWA
For more than a decade, Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Board of Trade have organized a research project and awards program to celebrate employers in Ottawa who make their workplaces great.
Since inception, 100+ organizations have been recognized.
What's the process?
Organizations participate in a two-part survey to get a thorough assessment of each employer. (Note, there is a nominal fee to register.)
Part 1 consists of an Employer Assessment that captures details about policies and practices.
Part 2 consists of the Employee Feedback Survey that captures employees' opinions about their workplace experience.
Who is eligible?
Be publicly or privately held corporation OR be a non-profit / government organization
Have a physical operation in Ottawa
Have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in Ottawa
Have been in business for at least one year, at the program registration deadline

October 7 ~ Awards celebration
Some of Ottawa’s fastest growing companies, such as Noibu, have received Best Places to Work Awards.
All of the region’s post-secondary institutions, including Algonquin College, are involved in Best Places to Work and the Talent Summit, a conference for employers that runs in conjuction with the expo.
The Best Places to Work expo will attract hundreds of human resource leaders from the region’s talent ecosystem.
